I quit cigarettes because they cost almost $6.00 a pack here in Washington State. So I took up to smoking Swisher Sweets Little Cigars because their cheaper and probably worse for me than the cigs. But hey, King Edward was an English King, I guess, so they make me feel royal.

I have a sneaking fondness for Menthol cigarettes when it's hot outside! Here in Portugal you can only really get Superkings Menthol and, at the bargain price of €2.55 a pack, you won't break the bank either!

The good ole' Golden Virgin rolling tobacco, with Blue skins & Swan filters. Marlboros when I'm out (and can afford a packet). That's RED Marlboros, not Lights. They're all going to kill ya', so you may aswell enjoy them.

A message to purveyors of cigarettes: If I wanted Marlboro Lights I'd ask for 'em.

Just outta curiosity, are they still called Malboro Lights? I remember there was a thing a few years back bout companies having to take off "light", "low-tar" and "smooth" off of brand names as it made them sound healthier!!!

I haven't bought cigs in the UK for ages but I've noticed cigs in Portugal have gone from "smooth" to "blue"

I think they're still called Lights, in fact I was certain 'till you asked that. Now I'm not so sure. I do get disproportionately riled when I ask for 20 Marlboro and get handed a pack of 'lights' though.

Surely 'disproportionately' can't be spelled like that?

Marlboro (and I'm fed up of been given marlboro lights all the damn time when I don't ask for em ) and Sometimes rolling tabaco usueally drum or samson, and a few times a week normally some pipe tobaco (in a pipe) think its a german or Dutch brand pipe tobacco, which is always with a little* something extra* in it

I too smoke a pipe now and then with a little British Columbia additive mixed in.

It may be considered feminine by some, it may add infertilty to the long list of reasons why not to, but I smurke menthol. Like inhaling a polo, and always worthy when someone ponces a fag not realising and pulls a 'euuurrgggh menthol?' face when first lighting up.

Thats one of the reasons I smoke menthol too! No-one ever nicks 'em!

Plus they are really refreshing on a hot day!

On the downside, as well as infertility, the menthol also dilates your blood vessels in your body and you absorb more toxins, or so I've heard. Oh well, I may not live long, but at least I'll go with a smile on my face and a ciggy in my manky tobacco stained hand!!!

Golden Virginia tobacco, green Rizlas, Swan extra slim filters... I occasionally like a nice cigar but have no idea about brands because I normally get given them rather than buying them myself.

Considering getting a pipe for one of my Live Role-Play characters.

I haven't indulged in a spot of the Miles Davis for nigh on six years now...

Talking of old brands, I did a year or so back get quite in to smoking seniour service, unfilted which I liked a lot but were just sos damn expensive and only a few places (and not anywhere near me) sold em Previously I've smoked Benson and Hedges when first starting out smoking, then the Marlboro, then Superkings, (as they were cheap ) then rolling tabaco for a number of years, then a mixture of marlboro rolling tabaco and pipe, and a few other brands I forget the names of and which were mainly awful but cheap

i used to smoke Consulate but they gave me really bad headaches.
and San Moritz Menthol had really groovy foil that if you scorched it went from gold to multichromatic scales of colour like a s wing (innocent pleasures trivial pursuits etc

Cigarettes are only $3 here, and sometimes buy one get one free. I smoke turkish royals, or Kamel Red Lights. I like a good black and mild every now and then cause i love smoking pipes. For pipe tobacco i smoke Wilshire or Black Tie. MMM I love pipes.

Oh and of course who could forget Lucky Strikes, and weed. And cloves, Djarum Blacks taste like Chai tea, you gotta lick your lips after you smoke em, they are so good. Weed and cloves go great together

"Tall cheap minty ones" - I'm not picky. I smoke menthol so DH doesn't nick them.

I bought a fake cigarette to stick in my mouth while I'm on H2, as coming here increases my fag consumption horrendously. It looks very convincing ... but it doesn't work
