While I was getting my bandages changed today I spoke to the doc., and she is going to arrange the tests I need before they can prescribe "proper" heart medication and in the meantime we've split the difference with the kidney-harming diuretics that are keeping me breathing, going for a 60mg dose halfway between my "normal" 40mg and the doubled-up dose I'm on at the moment. That should keep me breathing but cause less long-term damage.
The only problem is that both tests have a "queue". I'll get one in just over a week, the other in just over a month. And I now can't remember which is which.
I'm going to crash in the living room again tonight, not just because of the "drowny" thing I get when I lie down but because the overnight weather is forecast as heavy snow and 75MPH winds, and the living room is just *much* warmer.
I get my first midweek Tesco delivery tomorrow.
I watched "Supernatural", "Drawn Together", "Misfits" and "Stargate Atlantis".

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
