Mines ace.
She got in touch again and said hello and I was all oooooo hello.
As you can see, I'm slightly cheerful at the moment.
The way things are going though it might delay Hyborians by a month because I'm running back and forth between manchester and preston but all is going well.
I have actually more sleep problems though, and I havent had a proper rest in two weeks. Actually I've probably had one good night sleep.
Apart from that, oh and moving baby grand pianos around preston with two tutors in true laural and hardy fashion..
And I move in a few days to my new place, which I intend to paint to represent Kaylee's bedroom from the series serenity - because its loverly. The landlord doesnt know this yet, but he will. And Max will laugh in my face...

I still have no bed, or desk, but I finally have the internet! Woo to wireless internet!
Hmm Ii saw the two disc special edition awhile back, but when I looked there didnt seem to be anything additional compared to the normal special edition barring the fact that it twas on two discs.
Hmm watch conan, or watch firefly...
Damn you giving me ideas and making me choose.

Okay your wrong on so many levels there. Firstly there are several 'birds' in Conan the Barbarian, and fair enough there nothing special, however Kaylee isnt suppose to be a sex symbol, shes just the only one on the ship thats single, sane, and doesnt have an over protective brother who would kill you with as much vigor as River would if you asked her to come bunk with you.
And wash... well dodgeball again. You, like I, will soon be playing 'Wheres Steve'. These are the bizarre moments when Wash stops being Wash and becomes Steve - obligatary Yar's! required at said points.
Plus Kaylee's basically Willow the early years in essence - pure goodness/innocence (as Tim Minear and Joss Whedon say throughout the commentaries, shes basically the one who decides opinions about characters - i.e. Inara, essentially a prostitute, is good, because Kaylee says it is and we dont question her).

You know which bird I meant, the blond one who dies and then comes back.
Also Kaylee looks so amazingly hot when she's got her hair all mussed up and dirt on her face
I know what you mean about steve the pirate, but Wash is still amazingly funny

It depends. You see Valeria is a character in Red Nails and I think a mix of Belit thrown in as well - now there sexy. As for the actress in the films... well shes alright. I would rather have Kaylee because she can cook and doesnt have it in her to kill me if I did something wrong...
But Kaylee's just... shes not inara. Inara's much nicer

but who would be more useful if your car broke down? Also Kaylee gets all the guys at the ball wanting to be round her, so she must have something going for her that the more traditionally beutiful women don't have.
P.S. Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal

Valeria - Kaylee only knows how to fix space ships because, as revealled on 'Out Of Gas' the idea behind Kaylee was that she hung around the dockyards getting off with engineers so she could get a look at the engines. Valeria however, could likely push your car to the mechanics... or just act as an eco-friendly motor.
And the guys around her at the ball are there because they too hate all the pomp and ceremony - they'd much rather be talking about lads things (space ships) and play along because the women enjoy it (theres a line about how it must of taken a girls servents weeks to get into a dress). Then appears this women who would gladly spew out knowledge because whilst her fantasy is to be whisked off by a prince (which she is...kinda) she's nothing without her engines. Come on, if they wanted to get off with Kaylee would they really all sit there discussing engines or would one of them have taken the initiative and asked her to dance? No, she sits eating straw berries and talks about engines.
Oh yes, I have seen firefly too many times. Yet I'm perhaps one of the few who doesnt want to see another series ever. Just not ever. Maybe a novel explaining book (so many theories about, but Tim Minear recently said 'its not what you all think' which destroys my idea that he was a preacher a la the guy from serenity the film and reverts it back to him being a shaolin monk homage).
Speaking of Science Fiction, I'm still semi-building a star trek rpg while I get Hyborians finished because its just not going to be done on time sadly. Star Trek is something I can whip up quickly, use common ideas (Vulcans, The Galaxy class, etc) and hopefully watch grow with more people coming in.
This led me to last night finding the best piece of ham acting ever over on the first episode of hidden frontier -
"Looks like there going to put up a fight sir" say the plucky young ensign
"I wouldnt have expected anything less" replies the captain with a joyous smile, which turns into grim face of grimness "They killed my brother"
That one line dodge ball, red dwarf and perhaps even Jaynestown for comedy. I wouldnt mind but that series is really well done for no budget, but the acting and writing bites - how does a captain that loses three ships, including his own, ever get command of another ship in less then 2 years. Id have the fella hung drawn and quartered! I wouldnt mind but hes trying to be kirk, sisqo, and jane way all at once; and thats just bad.
