Hi there tis I opticalillusion I was logged out of my space and have ended up with a new one. I would like my old space back. But I am not entirely sure anymore whether I should abandon this great site or not. After all I will soon lack computer time etc.

did you use the same user name? Looks like you may have created a new user. Try changing that to something else and clicking on the link above and put in the user number (the one posted there is your original one) to get the password reset.

OK the plan so far.
We want to start writing an online novel. Story, characters and settings have yet to be decided (which is what the online meet is for). We decided that everyone who wants to write the story should put together an approximately 1000 word story based on the phrase No Carrier. This is to judge writing styles and areas of strength.
Several people have put down to be proofreaders and editors as well, and the list is the nearly complete list of all those who have volunteered so far.
Hope this clarifies things for you

If the universe is infinite, then im "a" center, 21+4^1+8+9=42 Posted Jun 18, 2003
whats this about the story being about the phrace No Carrier?

SomeMuppet Posted Jun 18, 2003
We kind of decided in the origional thread that we should do a practice story to try and see what sort of style each others writing is, and to spot obvious strengths (characterisation, scene setting etc)
Also we could maybe get things from these stories that could be used in the project itself.

When you say GMT do you actually mean GMT or do you mean what all the clocks in Britain actually say at the moment which is BST?

Actually I don't think I'm going to be able to make the chat. Assuming that I get the story done and am in could somebody post a summary of what was said on my space?

Flake99 Posted Jun 26, 2003
The summary will be posted here, so don't worry.

Excuse me while my head hurts
If going by GMT you're 8 hours ahead
If BST you're 7 hours ahead, as BST is an hour ahead of GMT
I definitely can't make the 5th now though, I'll be in Skye by then

i think my involvement will have to be restricted to a subbing and continuity checking type thing as i am in danger of overcomitting myself and would rather not let anyone down. I need to concentrate on getting my uni project finished asap.
This doesnt mean i am not interested or backing out - just think i should do what i can cope with and get that right.
