Well, I'm rather relieved, actually. I'd hate to think any of you are any more sane than myself! But it worries me that any of the above is cause for hitting the Yikes button. If that's all the provocation anyone needs, I'll probably be drummed out of this site by mortified moderators sooner than later!

BTW, the discussion on idioms [not idiots, despite how much you all blather ] is interesting. I'm a Canadian living in America and I hit up against the occasional language barrier. Can you believe these Yanks don't know the meaning of "wonky"? And they really go off cockeyed whenever I refer to someone as a "dogf***er". They take things so literally down here......
