My point still applies. Ethical arguments won't work on people who believe that they are in possesion of ultimate moral konwledge and high ground. They'll just claim that they Know they are Right and everyone else is a sinner. My point is that you can't argue with them on logical grounds, either.

Yes, it does, which is why I began with "I appreciate the points you're making, RDO, and I mostly agree."
Of course not: the sort of topics you're talking about are outside the bailiwick of logic. You can't argue logically with *anyone* on such topics.
