I enjoy the guide for its capacity to suddenly confront me with a subject upon which I have no knowledge - this was one.

Verry interesting entry (I read this a few days ago, commenting on it now, so you'll have to excuse me not referring to much other than it's title )
Anyway, the title might need to be tweaked. You may want to lose the Artist Biography part, as it implies a series, which the Edited Guide won't do.

Informative
One piece of information that has not been included was the year she was born, so I was unsure what age she was exactly at any point.
Some further definition of Mythical Geology and Rupestrean / Rupestrian art would help when they are first mentioned (where does the word Rupestrean come from?)
Is it possible to link the entry to any sites on the web where it is possible to see images of her work? http://www.akinci.nl/Ana_Mendieta/Mendieta.htm or
http://www.uwlax.edu/faculty/braziel/mendieta.html (which has many images) might be good choices.
Some idiosyncrasies that you may wish to alter:
immigrated from Cuba to the United States > either change to immigrated to the United States from Cuba, or to
emigrated from Cuba to the United States
experimentations > artistic experiments ?
if it was planned indeed, and not an occurrence, which may be a possibility > if it was planned indeed, and not a serendipitous accident, which may be a possibility (I’m guessing what you mean by 'occurrence', which isn’t obvious)
emerged from the mold of "Siluetas." > emerged from the mould of "Siluetas." (British English spelling)
petreous forms > petrified forms ?
petroglyphic might benefit from a footnote saying that it means 'a picture on stone'

Sorry about the untranslated characters in my previous reply, that is what comes of drafting it in Word.

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.
If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.
Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!

Congrats to all!
And the note to the sub asked them to look here for your comments, Pimms, to make sure they were incorporated into the final draft.
