Another year and time once again to update all about me.
Have changed my job and am now working with children as a Service Co-ordinator. A new challenge to get my teeth into.
Eldest daughter is now married and I am now hoping the youngest will find the man of her dreams- soon - she deserves it!
I have a new dog, now six months old, a pretty cream long haired chihuahua that is driving me into an early grave! Its good to go to work - I get a break! The dog goes out in the garden, runs about, sniffs, barks and then comes in to do a 'wee'! I must be giving mixed messages somewhere. If I take the newspaper outside it blows away and if I dispense with it all together, she just wee's anywhere!!!
Well thats my life at the moment.
But I'm happy

Hi Red Kite,
How kind of you to think of me. A happy New Year to you.
Yes, well I suppose that I am turning over a new leaf. I am very bothered though because the loss of my very dear brother on the 18th December 2006, and all the angst and nonsense with some of the members of the family - my brother and my son suffer from the same incurable illness - mental, and both of them are the gentlest kindest most compassionate people imaginable. I have been caring for people such as them ever since my son fell ill after someone spiked his drink with LSD nearly forty years ago!.
I see that you also like Ruggy. Did you watch the games this weekend? I loved the one in Rome where the ref obviously knew and applied the new rules very effectively. You must have been very upset at the England Scotland game. Scotland seemed to be doing so well, and then Johnny Wilkinson comes up. the poor fellow has had so many injuries. amazing that he has not given up. But he scored 27 of the 33 points I seem to remember.
The most brutal one was the Ireland v. Wales game. Did you watch it? I am amazed because I thought that at the sight of a drop of blood the player had to go off - "blood something or other " it is called.
Well there was one player who played with his whole face covered in blood. The ref eventually noticed him and he was led off the field. Only to return some short whiole later, apparently stitched - inside and out and wearing a scrum cap.
Perhaps men play rugby to let off their aggression. I must say that the commentators on Saturday, during the England Scotland game sounded as if they were coming to blows.!!
I love nice flowing rugby without all this dreadful punching, and shoving and stamping etc. The new rules, if they are applied, will make a big difference to the game.
Oh dear. OI have gone on.
I wish you well in your new job, and also give a gentle pat to your little chi???? (I must learn how to spell it!!.) I look forward to hearing from you and hope the daughters are doing well. What are their professions?
With affection
