Thank you for your post, it was a very pleasant surprise.
I'm sure that I will have questions for you as I go along, but I'll start with the pages you suggested.
For reference, I'm an American from Chapel Hill, North Carolina. I happened upon the many references to h2g2 in _The Salmon of Doubt_ and wondered why I hadn't found it sooner. Better late than never.
