Anyone want to talk to me?
Researcher U197087 Started conversation Nov 16, 2007
I'm drunk, lonely, fundamentalist agnostic, running Vista and Firefox.

Drunk? At this time on a Friday? I'm only on my seventh Budvar!

You might have a better metabolism than me for this sort of thing. All I have to do is look at an off-license and I'm ripped to the tits...

Hah! The woman who claims she can make a bottle of wine last a whole week!
Amateurs, the pair of you.

IIRC, you were actually quite thin last I saw you. You must really be putting it away these days if you've grown tits in the meantime.
But yeah, Christopher & I are about even in the lightweight department. Two glasses of wine and you've got to cart me home in a wheelbarrow.

I'm just as thin. Although what with all this Work, my deltoids are affecting my centre of gravity.

You could have an ass as big as mine. Eat more of those damned Pringles.
So, you're lonely and drunk. I'm still at work and bored to the the tits. Which means someone will have something stupid for me to do just as I'm getting ready to leave for the day.

Especially on Friday! You know how it goes, people fart around all day and then at the last minute remember something. I leave aa good hour and a half or more before most people, and they tend to "forget" that. Apparently, my boss walks over nearly every day, about five minutes after I've left, mutters something about it being "that time already", then forgets to ask me about whatever it was in the morning.

Lonely, drunk, and bored... Makes me want to go watch Idle Hands again!

Idle Hands sounds like a good laugh, must check that out.
I've noticed at work that people often tend to phone orders in (too lazy to fax) just before they (and frighteningly enough, so do we) stop for lunch or get ready to go home. Some don't decide what to order until they've got an answer. "Hmmm, what do I need? Let's see..."
Update: It's nearly 3am, still running Vista... there *is* no God. In vino fidelis.

So you're getting the kiddies drunk? Well, they do start early these days; but i'm told they go for evil lollipop flavoured stuff with vodka, bit of a waste of decent Beaujolais!
Incidentally it's Le Nouveau beaujolais" here in France right now, god, it is vile! We once got asked to busk at the local market at 6am (!!!!!) & people kept hurling bottles of the stuff into the guitar case; the experience of seeing an entire French town totally pickled, from the mayor down is not to be missed. Naturally, next day there was conveniently a general strike!

I knew a Bacchus once, from Texas U166086 who was the first hooter to visit my fair environs. He introduced me to Tom Waits, and bought me Rain Dogs. Which I went and lost.

Ah, Tom Waits...i've had many a long & usually under influence type convo in RL about this guy. When i'm in "certain" moods it's just the jobbie, but in other moods, if you put the man himself in front of me, he would get a Very Severe Telling Off & find himself added to my list of "101 things to do with a roll of gaffer tape"
Buskers? Nouveau riche? Bah! Try telling that one to Rod Stewart!
