Err...

and now it in't in't.
Unless Spook took it out...

I clicked the wrong button which removed this entry instead of another out of PR. I could kick myself as this has generated a lot of debate.

Well done Ashley!
You should be able to put it back, ask Jim, he'll know how to do it. If not I guess spook can resubmit it.

Oh, i see you've resubmited it, fair enough. I'm sure it is possible to move this thread back again though, the review forums are basicly the same as conversation forums, and you can move those around as much as you like.

HEy Tango,
Although they look the same, the fact is that Review Conversations are different to normal one. I just sincerely hope that people read the backlog.

That's strange... The software seems to treat them exactly the same, they have the same interface (when replying at least) and the same style of URL (F123456?thread=123456). I'm suprised the internal tools don't treat them the same.

Re: GTB's explanation about what we were talking about - I think that's pretty much right. I'd maybe add that it seems like the noun version of 'nothing' can often (always?) be seen as a shortening of some phrase with 'nothing' being used as a pronoun. Eg 'A pb sandwich is better than nothing.' --> 'Having a pb sandwich is better than having nothing.'
In any case, nothing as meaning 'absence', 'lack' etc. (i.e. a noun) seems to have got its own life in the English language, independent of the pronoun version.
