I truely hope your relationship is not solely based on discussing sci-fi series.

I don't like the 4400 very much. The concept is good, but the writing and acting are... ... not.

Should I ask what 4400 is? Or just take it on faith that it's a popular thing?

It's a science fiction series- 4400 people were abducted over 50 years, all returned at once. They haven't aged at all, and some of them have powers. The acting really hurts the show for me...

I've never seen it.
There are four that I hear people talk about sometimes, RL included.
Those are:
StarGate
BattleStar Galactica,
Firefly
and
I forgot what the fourth one was.

It may have been Star Trek or Doctor Who, but I cannot remember.

At least Sheppard's character is funny- these guys are bad, *and* they take themselves too seriously. Not that the acting on SGA is all that great either, but I'd rank it above The 4400 any day of the week. Maia's good though- she makes a great creepy little girl.

I thought Isabelle was much creepier even before she grew up overnight

IMHO Sheppard is the weakest character in all of Atlantis closely followed by Weir

Firefly's pretty good

Never been one for that. I wonder if they'll ever bring back Buck Rogers I liked that better then the original BSG, it was so naff it was great

It's been pretty poor lately for good hard sci-fi movies and TV shows, more's the pity.

I agree, I guess it's why I like Fan fic so much, you can do things that you want to see
