Heeeey hun! *Hopes Krissy's not of German extraction* smiley - winkeye

I've been out of h2g2 for a couple of weeks with password problems. Jim fixed it for me this morning - apparently I managed to get the same email address into the database twice! All sorted now, though, and it's nice to be back!

At the mo, I'm working with JimiX and Joanna on some Astronomy pages, which will all be very interlinked and interesting.

In the meantime, I'm playing a bit of piano again - dusted off the old keyboard at home - and getting my wrists to bend again and stuff. Must buy a MIDI interface for my Powerbook. Then I can play with myself. Oo-er missus, etc. etc. etc. smiley - smiley

How's you? I note you've been out sacrificing your old-age hearing at rock concerts! Man, do I sound like an old person already!!!

Oh dear! I didn't see this response at all! Pssshhht. Shows how much I've been paying attention, doesn't it? smiley - smiley I decide to show up on your page and give you a new post (because everybody loves a new post) and there was one for me!! smiley - smiley

I'm German only very distantly and my German/Polish heratige entirely depends upon what point at recent history you look at the borders.

I did indeed go to a concert that was a lot of fun. Life's been a bit mad lately. I move into my new apartment on the 24th, and I was SUPPOSED to be leaving to move to London tomorrow. My life feels a bit displaced right now. I imagine I'll work through it.

How's it going with you? I love the astronomy pages. smiley - smiley

LOL! Seems we're exchanging paragraphs about once a week at the moment! smiley - biggrin

Good job you're moving - makes it that much easier to 'manage', I guess. Hope the new place is groovy and full of fun people. smiley - smiley

Things are okay here, except for the Mt. Everest-sized amount of work I have at the moment. My brain is melting! Meeeeeltiiing!!!

Karen and I are looking to buy a house in London, which I imagine can only be topped on the stress levels by inviting, say, Hitler to tea. Everything's just ridiculously expensive, while seeming to remain appallingly shabby, but I suppose if we keep looking long enough we'll get lucky. But maaaaan is it stressing us out! Still, I suppose it that's the worst of our worries, wecan't really complain...

The astronomy stuff's fun. I haven't done anything for a while (work, etc.) but it's nice to be back into it again after a few years of neglect. I remember why I liked it so much! I've still got a fair bit of writing to do on it for this particular project, but it'll get done in the end.

So, England vs Romania tonight in the Euro2000 Soccer. Seeing as we beat Germany for the first time in an International in 34 years on Saturday, things are looking up. I expect we'll be crushed, though... smiley - winkeye
