A Conversation for Editorial Feedback

Edited Contribution?

Johnny

I just edited my poor, lonely, sole contribution. Do I need to do anything to re-contribute it or to resubmit it for consideration? I think it's much better now (I took the suggestion of a few people in Peer Review) and would like the moderators/editors to have a 2nd look.

You don't need to do anything - the entry remains in PR even after you've Edited it. The thread's at F48874?thread=262320. smiley - biggrin

Hi Johnny..smiley - smiley..

The Peer Review process takes time..After submitting an Entry..it is read..commented on and constructive advice is offered by Scouts and other researchers..

The author then makes the changes advised..(or not)..then if a Scout picks the Entry..it then goes to a Sub-Editor..who 'polishes' it..then finally it makes the Edited Guide and Front Page..smiley - smiley..This process can take a few months..

(The Scouts manage Peer Review)

Rho - If I have made any errors there feel free to 'put me right'..smiley - ok..

Emmily, There's not a single mistake smiley - biggrin

Just to add a tiny bit, though, the process could only take weeks, but more often takes months. smiley - smiley
