OK I know that only spelling & grammar are to be picked up but I'd like to suggest that you amend one bit of it to
"Over 70% of *the surface of* the Earth" is water and similarly for land. A lot of the rest of the is molten rock and probably iron as well.
Otherwise, I liked the article! Well done.
