A group of monks was on safari through
a particularly wild rain forest. Suddenly
a group of cannibals surrounded them and
marched them over to the cooking pot that
they had set up.
Suddenly one of the monks protested. "You can't
put us in that pot and boil us!" he exclaimed.
"Why not?" demanded the cannibal chief.
"Because we're friars (friers)," the monk explained.
