Good start, but there's lots more to say! New tricycle designs are extremely fast and sexy, with the rider lying back in a comfortable sling -- expanding the recumbent bike repertoire. Look for instance in http://www.bikefix.co.uk.
You have some picturesque splelings that alas will not survive the editors: propultion (propulsion) and transportion (transportation, or preferably transport).

Yes - no article on trikes is complete without a mention of the Windcheetah! And the great tadpole vs. delta debate, of course. To say nothing of Triker's Grin, a well-known phenomenon on the Dark Side.

See http://www.chapmancentral.com/Web/public.nsf/Documents/Recumbents and check out Windcheetah, Inspired Cycle Engineering (ICE), Greenspeed and particularly Varna (Georgi Georgiev) who make probably the best handcycles in the world and provide Sam Whittingham with the means to be the fastest self-powered human no the planet. For a delta trike see http://www.hase-spezialraeder.de/ and look at the Kettwiesel (yes, it was named after that Geoffrey Bayldon series of yesteryear - how surreal is that?)

Kettwiesel looks fun, but the Pino looks really exciting! Solves the problem of the tandem (rear rider's view) and at least one person rides in comfort!

ICE have a waiting list
Windcheetah are expensive
Greenspeed even more so
And I can't think of a better way of dealing with the certain issues that I have at certain times of the month when my standard diamond frame can get a tad too uncomfortable for riding.
