What makes a wheelbarrow such a brilliant invention is the fact that it only has one wheel. If a barrow uses two wheels then it becomes a hand cart which can cater for heavier loads. A smaller two wheel barrow is the porters trolley, but the wheelbarrow has them all licked. No other one man handling device can be compared with a wheelbarrow for its overall functionality.
