I fully agree, I have two myself and they are the most entertaining and companionable pets I could have other than a dog. Ive a male and female which was handy because my female was very lonely with me being out working all the time and by acquiring a male (I found him flying around and panicky one day near my work) has cheered her up no end.
Although incredibly messy and a little bad tempered at times or disobedient (the female I am refferring to here, Dusty) they are wonderfull to have around and I couldn't imagine never having them!
