How very sad that Eustace is "resting" this week, due to circumstances beyond his control, certainly beyond his understanding and possibly mine!
Never mind; I am sure he will blossom forth again next week with renewed vigour!
Not so much a case of "These things are sent to try us." as "We are sent to try these things" !!!

Eustace has been in tears all week but at least no one will be offended (there goes my artistic raison d'etre).

Spim,
Having just seen it in its new "modified" form; all I can say is that it made me feel very "not funny" at all. I will email you on this one. I am full of admiration for your ability not to run screaming through the corridors of power railing against injustice.
Hang on in there.

Whatever. it makes me bloody fume. I don't know how you can take it so calmly; but I am renowned for going ballistic about such things. i'd better stop; as I say, an email is probably a better place for this.
