Utilitarianism

.... is much more complicated than that. There's loads of different flavours of it (act utilitarianism, rule utilitarianism, reverse utilitarianism, reverse rule utilitarianism and so on). It's a complex and sophisticated set of moral theories, and even more so when you include monist forms of consequentialism that admit of more than one good to be maximised. And why bin ideas anyway?? Sounds dangrous to me!
