I like this!
I have two suggestions - firstly, how about a brief biog of HG, or would that take too long? Secondly, I wonder if it concludes a bit abruptly - perhaps a stronger conclusion, maybe something about HG's legacy or influence on others? What do you think?

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.
If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.
Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!

I have an admiration for , but not a devotion to , Wells.
Good stuff to look back on .
I made acquaintance with his work in the 1940 s and must say that the image of entropy in *The Time Machine* has stayed with me for a lifetime
