The Majestic-12 Operation

The MJ12 was a group of twelve men organized during President Harry S. Truman's term of office. The group's alleged purpose was to investigate reports of extra-terrestrial activity. The group's membership included a panel of scientists and millitary personnel who reportedly were:
- Dr. Vannevar Bush
- Admiral Roscoe H. Hillenkotter
- Secretary James V. Forrestal1
- General Nathan P. Twining
- General Hoyt S. Vanderberg
- Dr. Devltev Bronk
- Dr. Jerome Hunsaker
- Mr. Sidney W. Souers
- Mr. Gordan Gray
- Dr. Donald Mensel
- General Robert M. Montague
- Dr. Lloyd V. Berkner
The group later vanished into anomonimity, save for a few record papers recovered authorizing the MJ12 operation. Interesting enough, scientists on the panel worked mostly in the areas of aerodynamics, biophysics2, and mental health.
