Many years ago, on a trip to Bridlington (Yorkshire Coast) with mates
We passed a "place" that also had a sign:- Ears pierced while you wait!
and hic! (visited pubs) One mate walked in and asked "can I leave an ear and call back later ?"

Could be either Dollie jewellery or Do I lie jewellery ?
(that is the tricky thing with upper case I versus lower case l in sans serif fonts)
