I saw a documentary on Netflix the other night. The documentary wasn't very good, but it made me curious about PO Box 1142. (Can't beat that number.)

So here we are: from those lovely people who stuck maps in playing cards.

Just a couple of things I wondered about.

I'm not familiar with the US Department of the Interior's fire suppression policy

"is now the NPS's senior paleontologist" - 'now' might become dated quite quickly?

Removed 'now'.

I fixed the footnote - thanks for noticing, because I had to look it up and I had a mistake. Smokey the Bear belongs to the Forest Service, which is part of the Department of Agriculture. But they all wear those hats. I hope I explained the fire suppression policy better in the footnote - it's actually a big issue in a country this size with such extensive forests.
