There's no shortage of pumpkins there

The U.S. seems to have a shortage of pumpkins. (There are three in front of my house, and no one has stolen them, at least not yet.) This is a supply line crisis, aggravated by a shortage of truck drivers.
California, North Carolina, and Kansas have had poor crops, or pumpkins weren't even planted because of droughts.
But plastic pumpkins are not in short supply.

Plenty of pumpkins here. But then, they're growing in the local fields.

New England usually produces lots of pumpkins. There's some town in Main that grows giant ones that are hollowed out as boats, which are then raced on a local river. I don't know if Cinderella is on hand to watch.

I think I've seen pictures. The ones around here aren't that big.
The leftovers make good trebuchet ammunition.
