I liked Jaime's pistol-packing grandmother

When I saw the trailer for this film, I assumed that Madea was one of the characters. I was wrong. Jaime's grandmother learned her assault basics in a revolution. When it came time to rescue her grandson from having the Scarab content drained from him and into the evil Carapax (at probable loss of Jaime's life, to which Victoria replied that it was a sacrifice for the common good), granny stepped up with high-tech assault weapons that Jenny found for her from the family mansion, which only Jenny has visited in the last few years.

So, the entire Scarab content *was* transferred to Carapax, but 1. Jaime did not die, and 2. Jaime still had the scarab at his disposal, but *only if he was determined to fight evil in order to save his family.*

There was also a high-tech ship in the Kord family estate. It's funny how evil people leave these things unattended, even though they should know that rebellious family members are sure to remember they are there, and use them
