A Conversation for Bad Wolf Hot Sauce

Chili powder is very effective as a woodchuck deterrent

paulh, the apocalypse is coming, it's just late

I used to love dipping chips in salsa (albeit a mild salsa), but nowadays my only use of chili powder is to sprinkle it on the leaves I don't want the local woodchucks to eat.

I used to enjoy hot foods, but my stomach won't put up with that any more, sadly enough. I do love sweet peppers, though, and eat them every day for lunch.

My parents used to grow peppers in their garden. I think it's wonderful that you are growing vegetables with such enthusiasm. Sadly, I don't get enough sunlight to raise much produce. Mostly I grow flowering plants that like a fair amount of shade.

Didn't know buffaloes have wings (Flocks of migrating buffaloes, that would be a sore sight to see (heavy duty umbrellas required)).

I used to make the raw salsa with chillis, tomato and onion, to go with nachos. Never bottled it though.

One year I grew zucchini in my front yard, using a powerful liquid fertilizer that gave me 32 squashes from a single plant. I gave some squashes to a friend who made gazpacho from them. Chili peppers are an optional ingredient, though my friend probably didn't put an excessive amount into it.
