Glad to see Daniel Craig still is Bond

paulh, the apocalypse is coming, it's just late

"No time to die" is not at my local theater yet. Might be worth seeing when it arrives.

Thanks for this review, Awix - much appreciated. I would like to see it, as my late dad was interested in it in 2019 A87959678 and "the getting-on-for-three-hours running time more or less floats by provided you haven't ingested too many liquids before it starts." is good to know! smiley - laughsmiley - ok

I saw "No time to die" on Friday. I hadn't counted on its great length nor the ending, which I won't spoil by revealing it here. Let's just say it's the end of an era.

Yesterday I mentioned the movie in casual conversation while on a pleasant walk around my neighborhood. I mentioned that Sean Connery would always be Bond for me (The one Bond movie I saw before 1999 was "Thunderball"). But I like Daniel Craig (he played Ted Hughes in the movie "Sylvia" which of course was about Sylvie Plath), so I started seeing the Bond movies after he took the role. And I kept seeing them. He wears well, not unlike George Burns, who of course never played Bond smiley - winkeye.

Will he be rescued from the predicament he's in at the end of "No time to die"? I have mixed feelings. Will a certain descendant of Bond take the mantle in future movies? (I'm revealing what might be a spoiler, but not much of one.)

Anyway, I thought that the extra time was well spent, which is just as well, as the showing I expected was an error, and I settled for the next showing, which was in an IMAX theater, which was awesome but cost twice a much.

I hope I can continue to see movies occasionally in my local theater. I've missed movie theaters like you can't imagine (or maybe you can).
