Create Challenge, July 2021: Friends and Friendship

July 2021 Create by Freewayriding
Nothing makes the earth seem so spacious as to have friends at a distance; they make the latitudes and longitudes.

- Henry David Thoreau

This month, we're thinking about friends and friendship. It is a topic that has been pondered by philosophers from Plato to The Beatles. What are your opinions on the subject?

Do you have a friend or friends that you would like to compliment or commemorate in poetry or prose? Or could you send the h2g2 Post a fictional story about friendship?

Could you write a Guide Entry about great friends from history? Maybe Groucho Marx and TS Eliot, Lucille Ball and Carol Burnett, or Virginia Woolf and Katherine Mansfield, for example?

Could you take a photo, or create artwork to depict what friendship means to you?

Share your thoughts with your friends here in h2g2!
