And to think that there are other rock documentaries like "Stop making sense" or "The last waltz."
I liked Talking Heads at one point.
Maybe it's generational. I'm 73, and Woodstock was my reference point. ["Woodstock" was another rock documentary]. Ah, for the days when tens of millions of adolescents could be on the same wavelength, or at least know who the heavy hitters were.
I had to force myself to cultivate a bare familiarity with later pop groups like Pet Shop Boys. Adele and Beyonce are unavoidable if you see ma y modern movies. Now Poly Styrene has a movie, but she's not alive to profit from it.
