Sadly, all but one of the "Burns and Allen" TV episodes were in black nd white. You couldn't see Gracie's eye colors.

Although in the story virtually everyone has blue eyes (when they have an eye colour at all) on the grounds that being red/green colourblind I can spot blue easily, but get green and brown confused with red all the time. The number of times I've accidentally given characters green lips or red eyes and had to use Photoshop to correct the colour balance...
