At first I thought you meant Lillian Hellman

paulh, the apocalypse is coming, it's just late

The morning sun distorts what I can see on my screen.

Lillian Hellman was not beloved by at least Leonard Bernstein.

Lillian Russell was the subject of a 1940 movie.

I don't know if the student union at my alma mater is still in use.

Caiman raptor elk - Escaping the Array

Interesting to read about a place with such history.

I have one of my own.
The primary school I went to has been used as allied headquarters during the liberation of the South of the Netherlands

Caiman raptor elk - Escaping the Array

We have done a bit of skating with the kids on a frozen pond 9 days ago. They had all grown out of their skates and the shops are locked down, so I had to improvise. My oldest son found out the difference between hockey skates and figure skates the hard way (toothpicks!). The youngest used the hockey skates with rolled up socks stuffed in the front for the perfect fit. (first time skating on outside ice under his own power)

Yesterday the weather was back at 18 degrees C, so I went rowing with short sleeves. (which is not normal for February)
