Thanks for this poem.
We watched a programme about the blue whale skeleton now greeting visitors at the Natural History Museum (it replaced Dippy the dinosaur) well, in non-plague years, obviously. 
They called the whale "Hope". Her story was quite something, we were both moved, tears fell when they showed her final moments 
in a photo that spoke volumes about tragedy and compassion.
I don't know if I can write it up just yet (bit fragile) but it's on my list.
