The pictures are interesting. Although the changes are subtle - the green landscape becomes silver-grey - the result is striking.

Ah, thank you all, but it's the other way around, actually. The white one is with the morning frost, and the green one was taken an hour later.
We've not had snow yet here. It doesn't even snow every winter any more.

I hope your air quality is good, Dmitri. Pittsburgh and Lancaster are not so lucky.
You get a lot of snow? Does snow clean the air as it comes down?

The air around here is very clean. 
We're 90 miles from Pittsburgh, elevation about 1500 ft, in a beautiful watershed. And we tend to get a lot of snow.
