Birds are quite adaptable.
Those look like antennae of some sort.
No matter, the bids must think someone put them there as a perch. And not a bad one.

The two birds on an aerial make a striking silhouette.
I had guessed one was a pigeon, the other a starling, and was glad to be proved right!

Yes, it is my neighbour’s television aerial and it makes a fine perch for birds

They can sit there while they watch "Angry Birds Toons" on the TV that the aerial it's attached to.

I do love an aerial in silhouette, its one of my favourite ever type patterns.
Do you think the birdies feel fizzy energy when they perch on aerials? I often wonder about this when I see birdies perched on pylons, but maybe a TV aerial's not the same ..

I would have thought that aerials would be phased out in this era of cable and streaming, but I guess not

To watch Angry birds TV, shouldn't they be facing the other way? That is where the aerial is pointing to.
I guess the birds do not feel anything as the aerial is just picking up signals that are in the air anyway. I did hear a story though, that a specific type of radar was capable of picking up and frying a bird from the air at 100 km distance, when focused. (according to the manufacturer)
