I spent quite a lot of this movie critiquing Fay's switchboard technique. I have actually run one of those things, which I gather they borrowed from a telephone museum in Texas. I wasn't terribly convinced.

I would disagree about the Twilight Zone touches - they were the bits that I thought actually worked. Particularly the fades where they made the whole thing look like a 50s kinescope. I wish the rest of the film had been that interesting.
