Superb image - love the halos of light around the objects, and the juxtaposition of what is definitely a clock with the orange object that is not obviously a sofa!

heheh. Thanks Sasha
I went a bit bonkers last weekend, taking photos from the strange landscapes of home. Must do some more, in fact. Uh oh.
The halos of light come from a setting on my little Panasonic Lumix compact. I think its designed to subtly sharpen the textures of a photo, but I always exploit to it to give me halos and funny clouds.
Planet orange sofa does look very peculiar. I think weird lifeforms might live on it. (Me ) If I was the clock I wouldn't try to land on it. Stay in orbit, clock!

heheh. I'm sitting on the orange sofa right now. I told it the captions.
Will it still love me tomorrow?
It hasn't retaliated yet. So-fa so good.

I hope that you and the sofa realize that I honor both of you by raising your work to the level of high art -- well, if puns can ever be high art.

What?? Oh, , oops.
Well, thank you paulh, is what I meant to say. But Sasha might think my sofa pun is high art also. Or not.

After I posted that, realized that Sasha might have initiated this thread.
i like the idea that you could overlay purple stripes on that sofa. Purple and orange is a nice combination.

Yes, I certainly value art from Planet Sofa as high art
Yes, purple and orange do go well together Nearly but not quite complementary colours.

If you look at something orange for a while (say, the bright orange petunia in the pot hanging form my porch railing) and then look away, you see bluish green. If you look at purple for a while and then look away, you see yellow. Yellow produces a bluish afterimage.
