I thought this had a 'spaceport' look to it when it was built, and with that sky and the sunburst in monochrome, I still think it looks alien! This island Earth perhaps? The high contrast was particularly pleasing.

I thought it looked like a giant boat. With that sky, I want to go on a voyage.

Someone is manipulating our sense of scale. The landscape is jiniaturized so as to set off the head of the "man in the yellow raincoat" from "Curious George." You can see the hat itself. Under it, the man's long, sharp nose is visible.
Yes, Rod Serling is standing in the corner.

That is a fantastic photo - great drama with the clouds following the line of the building 
The (fairly) familiar (to me) made (very) unfamiliar again - excellent
