At least your grass is green. Our is dead and yellow when we can even see it. We have three or four inches of snow sitting on everything.

You're right, whenever the snow melts, the grass is green.

Right now, we can't see it. But even though it's frozen over and still snowing desultorily, and it's 20 degrees F out there, we can't complain. Everybody else is buried in the stuff.

Oops! You were talking about Scotland. I agree - theirs looks kind of nice - although Paige assures me the wind is bad up there. And it's damp.

One nice thing about this issue - we get to compare winters and sunrises and sunsets.

Scotland is lucky to have typical days. We get some very unexpected weather sometimes. We had some ferocious winds the other day. Not so bad that our local trampolines were blown around, but my large empty planters often find themselves far from where I put them.
