Oh no, not again!

I am 68 and expected to be famous or at least well known in certain circles by now. I also hoped to be well off enough to be self-supporting. I have a pension but the house we moved into recently is in need of tender, loving care or to put it in the vernacular - loads and loads of money to fix all the problems. I have had thirteen thousand hits on my language materials, freeware site but this has led to less than thirteen sales of the books they are based on. Regrets? I have had a few but too many to mention...

Oh no, not again!

My eldest brother in law is I feel even worse. Not only did he lose his wife earlier in the year but now his daughters are starting to desert him as they used to give him emotional support because she was in a home for several years, suffering from Alzheimer's disease. Also he visits people where he used to live, in The Western Isles of Scotland and they are getting on with their lives too, leaving him alone.

Oh no, not again!

The post about me is English self-deprecating humour (this is a challenge and a chance to leave my stamp on a very soggy old house and outbuildings) but for Pat it is depressing and he is projecting that disappointment onto me, saying I am being very negative about the move (my wife does the same thing so I am used to it).

Key: Complain about this post
