It's called "Schroon Mountain, Essex County, New York, after a storm." The Mountain is in the Adirondacks.

Cole also painted "Schroon Lake," with the mountain in the distance. The roads around the lake form a 26-mile perimeter, perfect for the Adirondack Marathon, which is held every September. smiley - smiley
