Too romantic

The picture's altogether too romantic. In reality, the lady wouldn't be beautiful, or the knight wouldn't be brave, or the dragon would be just an odd shaped outcrop of rock. smiley - erm

I'll have to think about it, go and find a smiley - dragon

Her three handmaidens had slain the dragon that was menacing the young prince.

"I am in you debt for saving my life," he said, kneeling at her feet.
"How can I ever repay you?"

"You can rescue my daughter, who has been kidnapped by evil Sir Google," she replied. "I weep for her day and night, waiting for a knight to come along and right this terrible wrong."

"I am at your service, fair lady!" he cried. She took her sword and dubbed him Sir Dragonbait.

"And who might you be, fair lady?" he enquired, rising to his feet.

"I am the Queen for a night. I could go for a knight if it's daylight."

Alas, when Sir Dragonbait arrived at evil Sir Google's castle, he found that the Dragon Intelligence initiative was in its final phase. Sir Dragonbait was no match for the advanced reptilian hordes. Nor, for that matter, were the handmaidens and the Queen for a night herself.

Thus ends a story that should have gone into several acts, but was cut short after just two scenes. Evil Sir Google would have been on he cusp of world domination, were it not for the appetites of his own dragons. He joined the others in the stomach of his very smartest dragon

Is there something Darwinian about this, or hasn't Darwin come along yet? smiley - tongueout

It's all irony. If Google develops artificial intelligence that's too smart, it may gobble Google.
