I haven't heard of either of them.

I have a soundtrack CD for "Wiocked," sp presumably Hughes is involved in that somehow. Carpenter is in none of my show-tune CDs

I can't say I'd heard of them before then either, but I don't go to the West End – not at those prices anywaysmiley - 2cents. Definitely not been to Broadway. (I did once take my wife to see Les Mis for her birthday oncesmiley - gift and the Reduced Shakespeare Company). So I wouldn't be able to tell you who is a famous performer. I assume they're famous in their circle, but how large that circle is I don't know.smiley - shrug

I usually check the actors in IMDB after I see a movie. Even stage actors sometimes pop up there, if their stage productions were made into videos, which are included in the database.

I went to school with a girl who has done quite well on stage – Laura Michelle Kelly, though she was younger than me and so not in my year. Her family always came across as a bit posh, though they lived out by Brading*, with 'posh' and 'Brading' usually mutually exclusive. Nice family though, our smiley - cat went to live with them.

* The Kynges Towne of Brading is pronounced to rhyme with 'fading' and not 'Bra-ding' and absolutely never like the name 'Brad'.
