This Entry resonated strongly with me
Noodling on a computer keyboard in a word processor, or with a pen and notepad, is excellent for getting frustrations out, or helping one's mind to calm down if ideas are racing in the middle of the night
Practice helps to develop the skill of writing for different audiences, indeed - one pleasing thing about the numerous job applications I've done over the years is that my application forms generally receive good feedback because I tailor the description of my generic skills to the specific roles I am applying for and keep it as focused as I can Since then I've sat on the other side of the table and seen first hand application forms where important information gets lost in 'detailed verbiage', but hopefully people gather the feedback and do better next time...
I enjoy Peer Review myself - although I read my Entries more than once before sending them out there, it's always good to get someone else's perspective, and people ask good questions that hone the Entries into the strongest possible shape
