I've heard jellyfish are having a bumper summer, because they like it hot.
So maybe it'll be jellyfish that take over the earth 
rather than rats or pigeons.

Fascinating colours in the jellyfish - thanks for sharing the photo!
Reminds me of my youth, when I went to the beach with my sister, and we found ourselves on a little island of sand when the tide started coming in. We enjoyed paddling in the water as we made our way back to the main beach, but then suddenly realised we were surrounded by jellyfish (thankfully smaller than that one) that the tide had brought in. We made a great team, searching for the best route through and looking out for each other, so we reached safety without any problem, but it was scary indeed...
That is a scary thought that the jellyfish might take over the earth

They might take over parts of the sea, but not the dry land. And if they displace fish, we'll eat them instead, keeping their numbers down.
