Thanks for not reviewing "Infinity war" (a downer if there ever was one), and for reminding me that Bergman's films could be a nice haven to head for when the films at the multiplex are a bit much to take (as they seem to be now).

I never saw "Wild Strawberries," but I saw "Scenes from a marriage," "the Magic Flute," and "Fanny and Alexander." I thought the farting contest in the last one was surprising but genial on the whole.

And the link wit Woody Allen was on the mark. I remember the comment in "Love and death" about the attractions of young women.
