A Conversation for BB NaJoPoMo

I finally had a day in which I could spend some time with my daughter as her father, rather than being her teacher. True, we had to do some homework together too – spellings, division as well as a powerpoint presentation on volcanoes. (Have YOU tried teaching an 8-year-old how to spell 'Pyroclastic flow' as well as understand it) but we had a good 45-minutes crawling round a soft play centre too, when my wife took my son to play Badminton and my daughter didn't want to.
Funnily enough the soft play centre at the leisure centre insists that all children are supervised by adults. The play frame has signs up saying it is designed to hold 94 children so you would expect that they'd have seating capacity for 94 adults, one adult per child as per their rules. Nope, there's only seating for 18. I don't think they'd thought it through. But hey, I had great fun crawling through tunnels and going down the slides with my girl.
