Travelling in France

Post 1

Array

When we were in France (23 May to 7 June) we found queues for petrol on the peripherique (orbital road) round Nantes, but no problems further south.

The reason the road to Mont-St-Michel was closed was because it disappears under the sea when the tide comes in!

We did have problems getting home though, because of flooding. Our usual route to a nice b&b we know by the River Cher near Vierzon was under water.
