Yes babies take up a lot of time. Wait till he starts toddling around he'll really keep you on the run then!

They are so cute when they do that.
Here's a 'roller'. I love to watch rolling babies:

I like the X-mas led chain idea downside is they tend to use battery power (a simple USB charger gives just enough juice to replace them)
Are the branches ending not a bit thin? I imagine they end up rather sharp and fragile.
Lovely shape and idea

Yes Dmitri, he's a bit like that at the moment. And he gets very frustrated if he can't move as fast as he wants to.
ou are right about the downside of the X-mas LEDs, Digital Led. But they look nice even if they are not turned on.
And yes, the endings are a bit thin, but the shelf is rather high up, so the day my son will be able to reach it is still far in the future.

Just enlarged the photo, seems the silver lanterns with red ribbon are not connected, only try out the USB supply with more then two LEDs in parralel.

Never mind, means fiddling with tiny wires, soldering and voltage meter to start with.
Guess I have some projects in stock for the post anyway

Yes, every lantern has its own little battery. Didn't have to change them so far. I don't think I personally want to fiddle with wires.
would love to see some of your projects!
